Description
An ornate silver cigarette case adorned with the Virgin Mary, transforming an everyday object of vice into something resembling a devotional reliquary.
Vice & Vessel plays with the contradiction at the heart of Sacred Sacrilege: the sacred image made to guard what the Church might condemn. Polished silver, elaborate engraving and Marian imagery give the case the appearance of a holy object, while its purpose remains decidedly earthly.
Open it like a reliquary.
Keep your little sins inside.
